Marbella Tennis Weather

Because of its situation between the coast and the Sierra Blanca mountain range, Marbella enjoys an unusually pleasant micro-climate. These ideal climate conditions allow you to practise tennis all year round. Even when winds are buffeting the Straits of Gibraltar just across the bay, the day will be calm and pleasant in Marbella. There is endless sunshine in the summer and generally mild temperatures throughout the rest of the year. Even in the winter months a light sweater will normally be enough to keep you warm.

Marbella is so often overlooked in the winter but it’s a wonderful time of year to visit, especially if you live in Northern Europe where even in summer the rainfalls are much higher.  In the winter Marbella is lovely and quiet, the flowers are in bloom and there’s blue skies and sunshine but without the high temperatures, perfect for playing tennis or exploring one of the many cities or villages of Andalucía.

Make sure that you make the most of Marbella’s climate and take some lessons with tennis coach Orlando Barcia.
